SAHIHI GREEN RUN 2022 EDITION | BINGWA-HOPE RESTORED
Like every year we held our annual green run with respect to the community’s development. Here at Sahihi Interior Builders, we believe in appreciating the value our communities add to our business. We like seeing everyone who has been part of our journey get where they want in life, whether it is through education or small businesses. Through our three core pillars and the support of locals, clients, and neighboring schools, we can provide education for the needy and a clean environment.
Did you know that it is wrong to plant vegetables with pure manure? I didn’t know either but the permaculture lesson about farming went into detail about it. We are hoping for healthier and better results when we go back for our 6th edition run next year. We also got to plant lots of fruit trees in the area with the help of the locals.
This year stood out in terms of attendance and participation. The MC was really organized so we stayed on schedule and had lots of fun after lunch. We took great joy in witnessing an event we had planned for so long become a success all thanks to your support. However, we plan to make our next run even better by setting up tents and seats where people can rest as they listen to speeches. Stay tuned for next year because you don’t want to miss out on all the beautiful sceneries and fun we will be having.
When it came to education, we had different people advising our students on how to study smarter. Starehe boys and Cianda boys were among the schools that attended the event. We listened to moving testimonials from some of our sponsored students and teachers. The event was made possible by the help of our sponsors Sama Ice Mineral Waters, Nganga, and Gillian who were very supportive to the end. It only takes you and me to make a change in the world. Let’s come together for the green run next year and every other year after that so that we can leave our environment greener than we found it!
